Take the stress out of budgeting
We offer a ‘no surprises' approach to fees so you know exactly what you are paying for. Village fees consist of a one-off application fee, a security deposit (refundable on departure) and a weekly residential fee. No utility costs are payable by the residents so there are no unexpected utility bills during the year.
Internet and parking are available as optional extras (additional charges apply). Please enquire at reception for charge rates.
At SCU Village, there are no unexpected bills during the year so you can concentrate on making the most of student life!

Domestic students who have applied to the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) for an offer to study at Southern Cross University in the 2011 year (SCU Offer) are eligible for First Year Exemption (Eligible Resident). If you are an Eligible Resident you can apply, and if accepted by Village management, you can enter into a Residential Agreement at SCU Village before receiving and accepting an SCU Offer with the knowledge that you can terminate your Residential Agreement with limited liability under the First Year Exemption.
First Year Exemption explained
Domestic first year students proposing to study in New South Wales do not usually receive an offer from UAC until late in January of the intended year of study. If you are an Eligible Resident and enter into a Residential Agreement at SCU Village for the 2011 year commencing 24 January 2011 and you:
1. are notified by UAC that you have not received an SCU Offer; or
2. you receive an SCU Offer from UAC but you elect not to accept the SCU Offer,
you must notify Village management of this in writing within 3 working days of you being notified by UAC or you electing not to accept the SCU Offer, as applicable (Resident Notification).
If you are residing in the Village, you must vacate your residence within 48 hours of providing the Resident Notification to Village management.
If you comply with all of the above terms, your liability under the Residential Agreement will be limited to the Residential Fees and other charges payable under the Residential Agreement from 24 January 2011 to the date Village management receives the Resident Notification from you (First Year Exemption).
If you do not comply with the above mentioned terms, the First Year Exemption will not apply and you will be liable for all Residential Fees and other charges payable under the Residential Agreement.
